Nicolò Nigri
Born in (the province of) Verona in 1976
With a background of architecture studies, graduated in 2003 from the University of Architecture of Venice, he arrived at painting in 2018.
Capable to transfer overwhelming and intense emotions through the strength of his strokes of colour and the sensuality of the streaks, he finds himself alike the Masters of Austrian and German Expressionism both for the stylistic traits and for the poetics of the contents told by the Artist, with a narrative approach.
His art is poised between randomness and planning, between improvisation and lucid vision, in which the temperaments of the Architect and the Artist are manifested.
His works, strong, emotional, capable of giving a striking sensation to the gut, full of sensuality and irony, conceal the artist's deep love for life.
